Greens & Screens: Putting Sun Safety First on the Fairway!
We are a growing community within golf, helping create awareness of sun protection, and the risks of skin cancer, to all who spend lots of time outdoors, who either play or work within the sport.
With the UV index now hitting three and above, it's game time for sun protection, which means getting to grips with Slip! Slap! Swing!. Let's make sunscreen the golfer and greenkeeper's best friend, and show those UV rays who's boss.
As golf clubs gear up for another summer season, let's remember that skin cancer doesn't take a break, and with golfers 2.4 times more likely to get a diagnosis, neither do we.
